Blog 3
So far senior year has been filled with work, baseball, and college searching. Ever since the summer I have been imbued by my performances to strive for more. I am motivated to play college baseball, and to get the best grades possible. At the end of sophomore year I was working in a desultory manner, and I knew I could do much better. I needed a better work ethic and more discipline so I could get my work done. The process is still going as I have been through many setbacks and breakthroughs. It is a labyrinth because the starting point was undisciplined, and the finish line is better discipline, but it will be confusing and tricky along the way. The problem is for classes I am not interested in I tend to get bored very easily. This causes a lack of brio and an increase in lazy work. This year is definitely different as I have gotten off to a great start, but part of the test is to see if I can keep it going through out the year. I am culpable for my lack of studying for some classes, but I am working hard to gain the discipline I need to do well in college and beyond.
