1st blog

This weekend my mom and I went down to Rehobeth Beach, Delaware for a baseball tournament. Unfortunately I had to miss the first two games because I took the ACTS. The drive was about four and a half hours long, and most of the driving had to be done in terrible storms. The town of Lewes, Delaware was enigmatic and kind of creepy. Most of the town had a large highway running through it, but one part of it was so spaced out. It was like two opposite towns in one! When I got to the hotel my teammates caught me up on what happened the day I missed. We tied our first game 1 to 1 and won our second game 11-0. The next day we were scheduled to play in the playoffs against the number 6 seed. By the second inning we were winning by fifteen runs and the other team praised us in an omnipotent manner. Our next challenge was against the number two seed, and they were a very talented team. The scouting report on their pitcher was that he didn't have a disciplined demeanor. In other words he was easily rattled and his attitude was poor. His fastball was sizzling into the catchers glove at 88 mph. Our team never game up and we started hitting the ball hard and far. The pitcher started to use bombast words because his teammates made some coslty errors, and we capitalized. Our team ended up winning 4-0 and we were on to the final game. Great pitching led our team to victory as we defeated the number one seed 2-0. Overall our team scored 18 runs and gave up none because the first one was unearned! In my opinion our team's overall performance is going to be near impossible to emulate. It was a great experience and I had a great time!
